Analyse & Forecast
Monitor cattle locations, water troughs, and fence lines with real-time updates.
Run automatic daily missions to identify herd location and wellbeing using AI models, as well as detecting water trough levels, and checking fencelines - all controlled and relayed straight through our mobile app.
Select where your cattle need to be - GrazeMate simplifies the rest.
Customize your muster down to the details - set specific routes, adjust intensity levels, and create engagement profiles for your herd. Our system analyzes biomarkers to minimize stress while reinforcement learning tailors the stockmanship approach to individual animals, delivering smarter musters that improve over time.
Estimating Cattle Weights, and Pasture Quality + Quantity
As GrazeMate flies over herds and paddocks, we use sensors to estimate the weight of animals from the air, plus the amount of dry matter in each paddock, assisting farmers with pasture walks and providing them with real-time insights.

FAQs: Get the Answers You Need to Know
Does GrazeMate work without phone signal or internet?
Yes. GrazeMate automatically toggles between a network connection (when mobile coverage is available) and a local mode, which activates when you’re within 20 m of the base station. That means you can operate seamlessly in remote areas without worrying about connectivity.
How is GrazeMate powered?
We offer two power options: one connects directly to AC mains, and another runs off a solar panel with a backup battery for remote deployment. Each unit covers up to 10 km on a single charge and recharges in about 30 minutes, keeping you running all day.
Can it handle trees, hills, and rough terrain?
Yes. GrazeMate’s sensors and AI are trained for real-world conditions — from open paddocks to wooded or uneven terrain — maintaining stable tracking even when visibility drops.
How large a herd can GrazeMate manage?
Using a single drone, we typically see strong control and tracking for herds of up to 2,000 animals. It can scale beyond that, though precision becomes harder to maintain across very large groups simultaneously.
What happens if a unit loses power or signal?
No data is lost — GrazeMate stores information locally and automatically syncs when reconnected to the network or base station.
How does GrazeMate reduce mustering costs and stress?
Farmers often spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars mustering each year. GrazeMate cuts this roughly in half. By analysing animal biomarkers, our AI minimises stress in cattle — trained with insights from some of the world’s best stockmen.
How do I get started with GrazeMate?
We’re currently rolling out pilot programs and conducting extensive testing. Join the waitlist and send us a message — we’ll begin onboarding you into a pilot and provide a demo unit for testing.
