AI Drones for Cattle Management

Helping Ranchers Move and Monitor Cattle

The drone that gives ranchers a faster, lower-stress way to shift cattle, check the herd, and monitor pasture and assets – all from an app.

About Grazemate

The Complete Toolkitfor Modern Ranching.

Daily Inspections

Know what's happening across your property every day.

GrazeMate flies scheduled missions every day — locating cattle, checking infrastructure, and reporting what it finds straight to your phone.

Find every animal on your property automatically
Check water troughs and fence lines with AI detection
Replace hours of driving with one automated flyover
Cattle Movement

Move cattle faster, with less time in the saddle.

Tell GrazeMate where your cattle need to go. It plans the route, moves the herd, and learns your animals over time.

Set a paddock, adjust intensity — the drone does the mustering
AI stockmanship that reads biomarkers and reduces animal stress
Works in rough terrain and areas without fencing
GrazeMate Move and Muster
Pasture Intelligence

Accurate pasture data, without walking every paddock.

PastureView measures your pastures from the air so you know exactly when to rotate and where to graze next.

Standing dry matter and growth rates in lbs/acre, every paddock
See where feed is available and where it's recovering
Updated automatically on a schedule — always current

What GrazeMate Unlocks.

Grass production

Implement High-Density Rotations

Tight rotation becomes practical without crossfencing or extra crew. More recovery time per paddock, more grass when you need it.

Carry More Cattle on the Same Country

Better pasture utilisation and tighter rotation let you run more stock on the same land — without overgrazing.

Spend Less Time on Routine Checks

Fewer drives to check troughs, fences, and cattle location. Get a daily picture of your land without always having to ride out.

Put Underutilised Country to Work

Paddocks that are too remote or too labour-intensive to run regularly become viable. More of your land working for you.

How GrazeMate Works.

01

Upload Your Pastures

Define paddock boundaries in the app. GrazeMate builds a digital twin of your ranch that every mission runs on.

02

Schedule Your Jobs

Set up daily flyovers, plan cattle moves, or schedule pasture scans. Pick the time, select the paddocks.

03

Watch It Fly

Monitor every mission live from the app. See the drone's position, watch the feed, adjust on the fly.

04

Review What It Found

Full report after every mission — cattle locations, trough levels, fence condition, pasture data. All in one place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does GrazeMate work without phone signal or internet?

Yes. GrazeMate automatically toggles between a network connection (when mobile coverage is available) and a local mode, which activates when you’re within 20 m of the base station. That means you can operate seamlessly in remote areas without worrying about connectivity.

How is GrazeMate powered?

We offer two power options: one connects directly to AC mains, and another runs off a solar panel with a backup battery for remote deployment. Each unit covers up to 10 km on a single charge and recharges in about 30 minutes, keeping you running all day.

Can it handle trees, hills, and rough terrain?

Yes. GrazeMate’s sensors and AI are trained for real-world conditions — from open paddocks to wooded or uneven terrain — maintaining stable tracking even when visibility drops.

How large a herd can GrazeMate manage?

Using a single drone, we typically see strong control and tracking for herds of up to 2,000 animals. It can scale beyond that, though precision becomes harder to maintain across very large groups simultaneously.

What happens if a unit loses power or signal?

No data is lost — GrazeMate stores information locally and automatically syncs when reconnected to the network or base station.

How does GrazeMate reduce mustering costs and stress?

Farmers often spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars mustering each year. GrazeMate cuts this roughly in half. By analysing animal biomarkers, our AI minimises stress in cattle — trained with insights from some of the world’s best stockmen.

How do I get started with GrazeMate?

We’re currently rolling out pilot programs and conducting extensive testing. Join the waitlist and send us a message — we’ll begin onboarding you into a pilot and provide a demo unit for testing.
